Deacon – Anthony Cooney
 Anthony was brought up in Ireland’s oldest City Waterford. Waterford remains his is his home City. However! Somersham is very much his home Town. He is passionate about seeing the Word of God become Flesh in people’s lives through the discipline of memorising scripture and praying it back to God.He enjoys preaching and studying scripture. For relaxation, Anthony enjoys the outdoors and loves walking on the Nature Reserve here in Somersham. During the summer months, his go-to happy place is the Beach.Anthony moved to England on Friday 24th June 1988. On his first day, he met his wife Clare in a place called Godmanchester. Anthony and Clare married in 1990 and served The Lord for many years in the church where Clare’s dad was Pastor. They have four grown-up children and are also proud grandparents.Anthony is passionate about helping the people of Somersham and the surrounding Villages Worship and Follow Our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
